Successful Female Entrepreneurs 2 (1)

I’ve gotten a number of emails asking for doing more empowerment posts. Today, I am happy to announce that, I am launching a new women’s empowerment series called “How She Did It”. The new series starts on Sunday, 10th of JulyI will put the spotlight on successful female entrepreneurs, from mum entrepreneurs, to girls in their teens, from student business owners to part-time entrepreneurs. All these women come from different circumstances, however they have a few things in common – they are all passionate and committed to turning their ideas into reality, building successful businesses and living their dream. We all can achieve this life – but sometimes we have to ask those successful female entrepreneurs – How She Did It!

I will share personal stories of successful female entrepreneurs, their challenges to get there, and the lessons they have learned through the process. My mission is to inspire everyone who read these stories to start living their dreams. We all can achieve incredible things!

Maya Angelou – “I am a Woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal Woman, that’s me.”

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie – “Of course I am not worried about intimidating men. The type of man who will be intimidated by me is exactly the type of man I have no interest in.”

Beyoncé – “We need to reshape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step up as women and take the lead.”

The new series of successful female entrepreneurs starts upcoming Sunday 11 of July with Ronke Lawal, founder of Ariatu PR based in London.

I can’t wait to share her story with you. Here is a small excerpt:

Frolicious: What has been the biggest challenge so far with running your company?
Ronke Lawal: I have often been my own biggest challenge. I have had to constantly coach myself to believe in myself and in all honesty I think that there have been stages in my business life when I have actually sabotaged my own success. I got in my own way because I felt like a fraud when I started to become successful in business. Isn’t that scary? The very fact that I want something so much that the fear of actually getting what I wants allows me to block my own progress! But I have learned ….
